Friday 4th July 2014 saw the arrival of the Commonwealth Games,
Queen’s Baton Relay in Pitlochry, Perthshire.
A somewhat damp day dit not deter a huge turn out from the towns residents to welcome and celebrate the baton being run the length of Atholl Road.
The Pitlochry highland games 2013 come to Pitlochry town on Saturday 14th September. A huge day for Pitlochry town, the highland games offer superb highland entertainment lasting all day. Pitlochry Highland Games has been hosting competitors and enthralling spectators since 1852.
One of the very last Highland Games of a long Season, Pitlochry Highland Games hosts the finals of a number of competitions including:

We have a total of 14 individually designed spacious rooms. We have seven deluxe double, four doubles, two twins and one suite. The Craigatin House Pitlochry deluxe double rooms all have comfortable six foot wide beds and are decorated in modern fabrics and furnishings with Farrow and Ball colours. All of our 14 bedrooms rooms have large HD LCD TV’s, Freeview and DVD players. We also have free Wi-Fi access in all our bedrooms and public area’s.
For special occasions, the Craigatin House Pitlochry Suite has all of the above with the addition of a private sitting room complete
with ipod docking station, espresso coffee machine, two large LCD TV’s and DVD player.
Breakfast is our speciality! Breakfast served in our brand new airy and contemporary dining room, where you’ll also find our guest lounge, all centred around our large and welcoming log burning stove.
We are centrally located withing Pitlochry town with ample private off road parking, just minutes flat walking distance away from all local attractions like the Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Edradour Distillery, Blair Athol Distillery, bars, restaurants and local attractions.
